Preview, debug and publish tags
Activate the configuration menu in Google Tag Manager.
Once you have configured the tags and triggers, save it and you can continue working by creating more tags, or you can check the tags and make sure they are working properly before publishing.
Once you've created some tags, you need to make sure they work asgeorgia whatsapp data expected. GTM's preview and debug modes let you test your tags before publishing to make sure everything works properly and you don't encounter any errors that prevent data collection.
To enter preview and debug mode, click the Preview button in the upper right corner of the GTM dashboard. This will open Google Tag Assistant in a new tab, where you will see this window that will ask you to connect your website to Tag Assistant.

Once your site is successfully connected, you should have another tab open with the site URL you entered, and a box indicating that it's connected to the debugger (don't worry; the box is only visible to you, not anyone visiting your site.)
